narmer M

ancient egyptian
NˁR-MR (NˁR-MḥR)

This name derives from the Ancient Egyptian “nˁr-mr (nˁr-mḥr)”, of obscure meaning. Narmer was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the early dynastic period (c. 31st century BC). He is thought to be the successor to the Proto-dynastic pharaohs scorpion, and he is considered by some to be the unifier of Egypt and founder of the first dynasty, and therefore the first pharaoh of unified Egypt.
